The Core Root: Zero-Visual Reliance

Touch typing's fundamental axiom is simple: your eyes are for the data, your fingers are for the machine. Moving your gaze from the screen to the keys introduces a cognitive penalty—Context Switching Delay—that caps your peak synchrony at ~40 WPM.

The Anchor System (F & J)

The Home Row is defined by the absolute haptic anchors of your Index Fingers. The tactile markers (bumps) on F and J are the ONLY physical feedback you need to calibrate your entire 30-coordinate matrix.

  1. Center Your Roots: Rest your fingers on ASDF and JKL; with minimal pressure.
  2. Symmetry: Ensure your wrists are straight and slightly elevated—parallel to the board.
  3. The Finger-Drop: Strike the key with the tip of your finger, not the pad. Return to the anchor immediately after.
